Years ago, let me try to narrow it down, 33 or 34 yrs ago.. I heard a song that touched me so deeply as a young teenager the words still stay in my mind and heart yet I have never been able to find that song. I am hoping SOMEONE knows what it is, who sang it and/or the lyrics.. I am going to include all I remember 
"Its a long long line
I think I'm gonna lose my mind
I'll probably die a thousand times before He calls my name"
Verse:
"Old Parson Brown used to stand on the corner with a Bible in his hands
We laughed as he preached of the coming of the judgement but look whose smiling now"
