Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud, it is not rude. It is not self seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. -1 Corinthians 13:4-6
This is a great scripture for me personally because it helps me stay humble, and helps me combat by stubborn pride. It is great guidelines to live by for a healthy and happy marriage.
This is one of my favorites. Please jump in and tell us yours.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do, and he will show you the right way.
Proverbs 3:5-6
It helps remind me that we should continue trusting him no matter what, and always remember that whatever we do and plan GOD will always lead and show us the right way.

My favorite is from Romans 8:37 -39 I says: 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A charge to keep I have A God to Glorify, who sent his son to save my soul and Fit it for the sky. I am not sure if this is actually in the Bible. It may be the beginning of a song. But my husband sometimes starts a prayer with this. It sure has blessed my soul. He thought he was memorizing it for himself, and i ended up memorizing it for myself. Everytime i say it I can hardly finish without crying. It really goes deep in my soul.

I don't believe in a 'God' or 'Creator' or whatever. But I believe that Jezus has lived. 1st : The socialist ideas he spread were so new, that they had to come from an intelligent person that has existed. 2nd : everybody who talked about those ideas, later, would have claimed to have invented them themselves. 3rd : the story, once established, hasn't changed that much after that. Whatever the future, and though an interpretation by letter is not the way to understand it, the Bible will always be one of the best and most interesting writings in history. Because if you read between the lines, there is always new wisdom to be found.

You find endless wisdom in the Bible because the Bible is the source of the depths of truth. An essential part of that wisdom/truth is the concept that Jesus is the creator. Read the first chapter of John. Verse 3 says that All things came into being through Him; and apart form Him nothing came into being that has come into being. That would include each of us. If you will read these verses (1-18) over and over until it really sinks in, your concept of what life is, where it comes from, why it comes, and who Jesus is will metamorphose as the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth--if truth is what you are seeking. I wish you Immanual--God with Us! (Matthew 1:23)

Here are my favorite verses; to remind me who I am ...
Romans 12:1-2 I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship, and do not be conformed to this world, but be transfored by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: there glorify God in your body.
I Peter 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. and vs 9 your are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light!
