In the book of Exodus chapter 33, Moses said these words, If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you.
The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.
And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."
Then in vs 18, Moses says a very bold thing, "Now show me your glory."
And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. "
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. And Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.
Show me Your Glory, Lord. Oh how I long to see Your face. Show me Your Glory, Lord. Draw me into Your holy place.
Let Your goodness pass before me. Let me hear Your voice proclaim. All the fullness of Your nature. and the power of Your name.
Show me Your Glory, Lord. Come and reveal Your perfect ways. Show me Your Glory, Lord. Show me Your face.
