1 Chronicles: Word Biblical Commentary [WBC]

The Word Biblical Commentaries are known for their scholarly approach to the scriptures. Roddy Braun continues this with his excellent treatment of 1 Chronicles. Braun provides a helpful discussion of all asects of the book. Good comments on Old Testament theology, exegesis, and good bibliographies contribute to this very good commentary. Roddy Braun is a graduate of Concordia Seminary in St.Louis, where he earned the M.Div, S.T.M, and Th.D. degrees. He is pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran Chruch, Arlington, Virginia, and is a former professor at Concordia Senior College.
