The Christians in Corinth faced many of the conflicts that Christians today encounter as they seek to live their faith in a culture that contradicts Chirstian beliefs and principles. God speaks to us today through 1 Corinthians concerning the Gospel and the unity of the church, Christian freedom, the victory of Christ's redemptive death and resurrection, and the power of the Holy Spirit, which is ours through that victory.
