This Bible Study focuses on three key tools for exciting Bible Study: comprehension, interpretation, and application. The What's the Text? section lets the text speak. No reading into it what you want it to say; just focus on the words of the Scripture; What's the Context? section adds the background of the literary and cultural context of the day. Students can put themselves in the place of the first people to hear Scripture; What's Next? section gives students choices to examine the meaning of the Scripture and life applications they can use. These studies lend themselves to a student-led, small-group format. Each of the seven studies per book can be easily adapted to fit one or more group meetings.
