On the long journey toward baptism, catechumens need to be nourished on God's word. A Catechumen's Lectionary contains all the Scriptures necessary for three years of the lectionary cycle, including Holy days. It offers myriad suggestions for prayer, for Scripture reading, and for helpful insights on developing a journaling habit. It also includes an introduction by a leading Catholic biblical scholar that explains the purpose and nature of the lectionary along with the place of Scripture in it. The work of 17 contributors who all work with the catechumenate regularly, and who have gone through the process themselves.
