How can we expect different results when we continue doing the same things? 'God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.' Gad says that if we are unwilling to change them we don't fear him. Are we willing to unlock the chains that have us bound?
