The life of Rev. Thomas Kilgore Jr., a civil rights leader who helped organize the historic 1963 march on Washington, founded the Los Angeles Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and served as an advisor to LA mayor Tom Bradley. He was the first African American president of American Baprist Churches in the USA and served as president of the Progressive National Baptist Convention.
