This program has four steps: 4-step program:
Step 1 begins with teaching kids about choices /consequences, how to complete simple tasks without constant direction, the difference between privileges and rights, and how to budget time and resources.
Step 2 introduces the Privilege Card and Special Date Card. Children learn to predict consequences follow rules, redirect themselves to positive behaviors, and work forward future incentives.
Step 3 incorporates extra chores, bonus bucks, savings, helping hands, establishing self-imposed boundaries, delayed gratification, and paid works vs. acts of service
In step 4, Family Forum & Quiet Time hour are introduced. Goals, accomplishments, problems, challenges, lessons in independent living, setting time aside to refresh, recharge, manage stress and relaxing in positive ways are covered.
