The church is more than a phyical edifice, more than a particular Christian group or denomination. The church is Christ manifesting Himself to the world through the people of God. God speaks to us today through Acts concerning the basis of the church's power, the cntral mission of the church, the inner workings of the church and the perpetual perils threatening the church from without and from within.
