American Adventures: True Stories From Americas Past 1770 to 1870 is a book of stories that other young readers and listeners have found interesting and exciting. To the left of each story is a timeline and a box titled, 'What Else Was Happening?' This will give you an idea of what was happening at about the time the story is taking place. Since the stories and timelines follow in order, you will get a chance to see how our nation has grown.
