As It Was is an interdisciplinary approach to various cultures in history. It takes broad-based concepts and applies them to a particular culture, people, or period of time. Students are provided with opportunities to investigate aspects of past cultures through Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Math, Art/Music. Includes issues such as Hieroglyphics, Slavery and Mummification. Also includes people such as Nefertiti, Cleopatra, and Ramses II, and more. The places include: the Nile Delta, Nubia, and the Pyramids to name a few.
