Here are eight Christmas stories; stories of love, faith, and the wonder of the holiday season, each originally presented as story sermon for Christmas Eve. These earthy tales are loaded with eccentric characters who do unconventional things in unlikely places, but who always seem to discover by luck; (or is it by God's grace?) the true meaning of Christmas.
Arthur F. Fogartie was the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, Virginia from 1999 to 2001. A fourth-generation Presbyterian minister, he has held pastorates in Arkansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Idaho.
