In the theological tradition of Moltmann (Theology of Hope) and Pannenberg (Revelation As History) comes Ted Peters' Anticipating Omega. A human understanding of the future as it belongs only to God is placed within the confines of human understanding. Peters, using the tools of evolutionary biology and physics (among other theoretical structures), expounds an understanding of the infinite as informed by hypothetical views of what the future may hold. Along the way, Peters advocates the use of some ideologies usually considered antithetical to Christianity, such as New Age Spirituality and Darwinian evolutionary models.
