On a hundred mile car trip to Grandma's house, a father and son travel on highways and roads, thru tunnels and forests, from city to country, using a map to count down the miles left on their journey as they go. Every ten miles the son asks 'Are we there yet?' and is told to consult the map. A full-sized gatefold map, as well as a map on each page, shows the father and son's route so young readers can follow their progress as they get closer and closer to Grandma's house.
