Around the Wicket Gate was written by Spurgeon ( Morning and Evening) to those who had some knowledge of the Gospel message but as yet were outside of Christ. Spurgeon makes it clear that to be 'almost a Christian' is a most dangerous state. Here he presents in his own compelling manner the full and free salvation of God through trust in Jesus Christ alone.
