Each lesson in this book is ingeniously housed in an illustration of a rocket ship. Exercises are designed to help students memorize adding and subtracting with 0, 1, 2, 3... and up to 9. A single number is positioned in the ship's capsule. The numbers that need to be added to or subtracted from it are listed down the body of the ship on the left. A student's answers are filled into the spaces on the right. In all, there are 20 ready-made 'Blast Off!' worksheets included. Blank rockets and 20 pages of additional math problems are also featured so teachers can customize their lessons.
