Let's Look At, Book 5, is the workbook that accompanies Let's Read, Book 5. Exercises in the workbook are done by students before or after they have read certain pages of Let's Read, Book 5. These exercises help reinforce the basic reading concepts introduced in Book 5, which focuses on short-vowel monosyllables with consonant clusters and digraphs. The workbook does not include directions. The Teacher's Manual for Let's Look At, Book 5, provides the instructor with directions for each exercise in the workbook; it also indicates when it is appropriate to do the exercises with students and sometimes offers comments on the methodology behind the exercises.
