As part of their Christmas celebration, the Montoya family throws a party for their friends and neighbors. Josefina and her sisters skillfully make all the preparations, and the party is a great success. However, the next day, their happiness gives way to a feeling of deception when Aunt Dolores announces she is going to leave the ranch. Josefina and her sisters want to stay with her and their father, but all their efforts to convince their aunt only complicate the situation.
