This book is about how people read the Bible. It starts with the rather obvious observation that different people read the Bible differently and inquires why this is so. It ends with what I hope are less-than-obvious conclusions reguarding the significance and implications of such diversity. Significance for what? Well, mainly, for reading...but also for interpretation (espcially biblical interpretation)...and for theology.
