This unit study is designed to accompany the book 'Hudson Taylor: Deep in the Heart of China' (CBD Stock # 80165) from the Christian Heroes: Then and Now series. It provides the Christian schoolteacher or homeschooling parent with ways to use the book as a vehicle for teaching and reinforcing various curriculum areas including: Bible study, creative writing, drama, movie critiquing, reading comprehension, essay writing, history and geography concepts. As there are more ideas than could possibly be used in one unit, it is the parent/teacher's job to sift through the ideas and select those that best fit the needs of the students. Activities are suitable for a range of grade levels and abilities.
