This book is a Christian response to the events of September 11, 2001, written for a general Christian audience from the Lutheran point-of-view. It shows that the Islamic challenge, promulgated by terrorism, makes this conflict religious in nature. Veith warns against useless or worthless responses, such as responding from a platform of generic religion or secularism. He points to Jesus Christ as our one hope, and outlines the duties of each Christian citizen concerning this crisis.
