The stories in this collection have been chosen for the challenge they offer the reader and the variety of language used. A collection of poems is focused on the seasons and Alice in Wonderland. The stories and poems come with thesaurus of difficult words at the bottom of the page to help increase vocabulary while introducing children to a wide variety of writing styles.
