This book examines the New Testament letters to see whether any post conversion crisis experience is commanded, promised, held out or commended. A survey is made of the outpourings of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts. Ten different categories of crisis experience are analysed. The work of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament is compared to that in the New. Finally the subject of Revival is discussed.
