The authors of this book challenge you to become a digital storyteller. They will take you beyond simply flashing words on a screen, or using story to communicate the truth, or even using a screen. They will take you beyond these pieces of technology to the 'interface' of worship and technology so that the mechanics of the production of worship disappear and, like reading a book, we reach the point where we no longer see the technology, for it has become a part of our life. To become digital storytellers means that some of you must allow God to totally rewire the way we feel, think, and communicate. Assists church leaders in moving past a dated multimedia or audio-visual mentality when producing media for worship. The digital culture values story and experience, which means that producers of eWorship in congregations will learn how to represent the Word as image and art in the production of digital eWorship media. New models for worship are offered, and tactics for change are proposed so that timid congregations, as well as small and medium sized congregations can become digial storytellers. System Requirements: DVD compatible with Computer DVD-ROM players and all DVD players (set top players).
