When the temperature begins to soar in Glenfield, eighth-grader Willie Plummet helps an elderly neighbor beat the heat. Mrs. Lawton is a great neighbor. Not only does she appreciate all of his inventions, she tells great stories! Willie's friends don't understand. Can he help them value this special friendship as much as he does?
