Draw Today: Parent and Student Set

Around the age of 10 years old, the number of children interested in drawing is near 100%; by the time these same children are in their teenage yeats, the number interested in drawing is down to only 6%. What happened in between? Believing that people only like to draw when they're successful at it--and that all can be successful at drawing--Draw Today focuses on classical drawing techniques that, once learned, open the gateway for all other artistic endeavors. Students will learn by copying other works of art, tracing a grid over images, and by erasing a charcoal-smudged page, avoid the fear of 'smudging' or 'ruining' a stark white piece of paper. The recommended starting age is 10 years old or older; younger students may take as long as they need to complete the course to their satisfaction.
