Not Christian epiphanies (theophanies or divine appearances), but rather personal experiences of 'seeing the big picture' are displayed here under the microscope of a veteran psychotherapist. Introducing concepts of transcendental thought and 'nonlocality' with an emphasis on mind sciences (she was brought up in the Christian Science cult) the author attempts to illustrate the junction of the miraculous and hard science. Drawing from various schools of thought (Buddhist, scientific, feminist, Hindu, etc.) she offers a context for these very real instances that tend to border on incredulity.
