Virtues are character traits—good habits, or steady dispositions to behave in certain ways. A person who possesses the right cluster of virtues is said to have good character. These virtues can be learned by habit as we study Scripture and become part of the story of God's people. Being God's people in a postmodern age is an extreme challenge that calls for extreme commitment. Journey into the world of the prophets Isaiah, Amos, Hosea and others and the extreme virtues they advocate and embody.
