Augustine (354-430) was the most influential of the Western Church fathers. Faith, Hope, and Charity has previously been known as the 'Enchiridion', the title has been expanded in order to accurately represent the contents of this work. FAITH, HOPE AND CHARITY is a great summary of Augustine's theology written by Augustine himself. The Ancient Christian Writers series features the translated works of the Fathers.
