Family Centered Intergenerational Religious Education (FIRE) The Creed: Leader's Guide. As an alternative model of religious education, the program (FIRE) covers, in a four year cycle, the main truths of the faith enumerated in the National Catechetical Directory. While the focus is on communicating the faith story, much time and attention is given to developing prayerful support communities where that faith can be lived out, and to fostering better communication, affirmation and decision-making skills within households. More importantly, FIRE is fun.
