The hardships of growing up in large Amish families had created a bond between Elizabeth and her best friend Rachel. In precious moments of free time they would escape to their favorite place by the creek to share their visions of the future. Rachel dreamed of romance while Elizabeth wondered what life would be like to not be Amish. But their girlhood dreams are shattered when Rachel is diagnosed with a serious illness.
