Nearly two hundred years ago, The Corps of Discovery, led by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, spent more than two years exploring the geography, resources and peoples from St. Louis, Missouri, to the Pacific Ocean. Committed to promoting peaceful relations with the different nations it encountered, the Lewis and Clark expedition represents an important milestone in American history.
