This book is an examination of the role of good government. In today's postmodern society, where the emphasis on absolute truth has waned considerably, such an examination is necessary, particularly if the truth of God's Word is to be preserved and acted upon. Too often evangelical Christians, including pastors, lay church leaders, and para-church ministers, are uninformed about the proper godly role that civil goverment plays in our lves, and the influence it can and must have in cultural, social, and civic matters. As a result, evangelicals tend to view civil government as the enemy. This is simply not true. Dr. King outlines four basic keys to good government.
