GodStories is a narrative entry into the sacred texts of Jewish and Christian faith. Biblical stories and characters are captured in an interpretive set of essays that span the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The rabbinic way of storytelling as a way of interpreting Scriptures - haggadah - is used by the author to re-present the biblical narratives by weaving together stories both ancient and modern. Multiple meanings emerge as we wrestle with these ancient texts, which are terrible and wonderful in their exploration of the human condition.
