The Expositor's Bible Commentary is designed to be an Evangelical and scholarly treatment of the scriptures. This volume covering Hebrews, James, 1 & 2 Peter, 1-3 John, Jude and Revelation. Each commentator begins with introductory notes concerning authorship, dating and the history of the text. The commentaries themselves discuss the historical and theological elements of the books, drawing out the meaning of the scriptures for the reader. Leon Morris (Hebrews) is a graduate of Cambridge University. He is former princial of Ridley College, Melbourne, Australia. Donald Burdick (James) is a graduate of North Baptist Theological Seminary. he is professor of New Testament at Denver Theological Seminary. Edwin Blum (I and II Peter, Jude) is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. He is associate professor of historical theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. Glenn Barker is a graduate of Wheaton College and Harvard University. He is professor of Christian origins at Fuller Theological Seminary. Alan Johnson (Revelation) is a graduate of Dallas Seminary. he is professor of Bible and theology and Wheaton College.
