When someone plays a nasty Halloween trick at Horsefeathers Stables, Scoop gets a bad case of the 'what if's.' Her fear affects her progress with Cheyenne and shakes her confidence in her abilities. Things seem to go from bad to worse. Her friend Jen seems to never get over being sick and Scoop worries about her. Then a big snowstorm hits and she learns that Jen went out in the storm on Cheyenne... Recommended for ages 8 to 12.
