The old Horsefeathers Stable now belongs to 14-year-old Sarah 'Scoop' Coop... as long as she can keep it in business. In order to make the bank payments, she must keep all the boarded horses in the barn. But her good friend Carla is having problems with her horse 'Ham,' and Carla's mother is threatening to send Ham back to Dalton Stables. Is Ham just responding to how anxious Carla seems lately? Can Scoop figure out and fix the problem before Ham is taken away? Recommended for ages 12 to 16.
