Elisabeth Schussler Fiorenza is the Krister Stendahl Professor of Divintiy at Havard Divinity School, the first woman president of the Society of Biblical Literature (1987), and the co-founder and co-editor of the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion. In Memory of Her, first published in 1983, has achieved international acclaim as a classic of feminist biblical scholarship. It has been trnaslated into Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
