'From the Publisher:' Here is Pat Cook's third full-length play from Lillenas Drama, and it's nothing like the other two, 'If the Good Lord's Willing and the Creek Don't Rise' and 'Every Little Crook and Nanny'. This new two act script is a wonderful combination of high comedy and a warmhearted homage to Mr Cook's favorite teacher in high school - Miss Constance Brown. Cast calls for 1 adult male, 2 adult female, 3 teen males, 2 teen females. The setting is Miss Brown's living room between the years 1963 and 1967. The story line is secondary to the variety of hilarious situations Brown's students get themselves into, and their shenanigans in trying to get out of them. With all the humor, there is still a note of nostalgia and good feelings about this caring woman who in the last act is elected teacher of the year and is escorted to the recognition banquet by her prize students. The characters are strong and will challenge acting abilities. Directors will enjoy casting five teens, a late 30s man and woman, and a 60 year old woman. Royalty: $30.00/$20.00
