It's almost Christmas, and Josefina and her sisters are sure that it will not be the same, or as happy, without Mama. Josefina has the chance to be Maria in the village's Christmas Las Posadas, but is unsure and passes it up, plus Nina, the doll her mother made, has disappeared. Some old traditions are kept, and some new ones are made too.
