Kaya's family has gone to the great river for fishing season, and she hopes to see her friend Two Hawks and find any news of her missing sister Speaking Rain. Kaya finds her sister, but is afraid to lose her again. Kaya's older sister, Brown Deer, is marrying age and she is afraid that she will lose her as well. Kaya must learn to accept the decisions of others but will she lose both of her sisters?
