Difficult economic times cause the Ingalls to move closer to Mary who is teaching at the blind school in the city. They all prepare to celebrate Mary's birthday: Pa sells his fiddle to purchase her a present and Laura makes her a card written in braille. Everyone is moved to tears when Mary expresses her appreciation for the special people in her life - as they are everything she could ever really want. Approx. 95 minutes.
