This book addresses the call of God for each of us to live an important life. Our model is the resurrected Christ, who offered Himself as a living sacrifice. Following the general themes of chapter 12 of the New Testament book of Romans, Part 1 first takes into view the fullness of God's sacrificial mercy. In part 2, the text illustrates the transformative capacity found only in cooperation with God's provisions on our personal behalf. In part 3, the text seeks to reveal the power and authority we have been granted to overcome evil with good. This book weaves together common sense prose, solid scriptural exposition, and candid personal testimony, with unique parables and anecdotes that illustrate the text. An original poem opens and sets the theme for each chapter.
