Pepito, Madeline's neighbor, invited her to spend the day at the Gypsy carnival. They were both excited and ran to the fairgrounds and rode the ferris wheel. But then a storm hits and everyone leaves except Madeline and Prpito. They were stuck at the top of the ferris wheel. The gypsies leave and Madeline and Pepito have to go with them. The two children get to see what gypsie life was like and enjoy it very much.
