The church's understanding of evolution as a 'side issue', one that doesn't touch the central theme of the Gospel, or that is reconciliable with the Genesis account, is completely discredited by Dr. Mortenson. Rather, he passionately wants the church to awake and realize that the Genesis account is the very foundation of our Bible, worth defending at all costs. In this informative and much needed presentation, he teaches us about the beginnings and progress of the Evolution-Creation debate, addressing how the issue is presented as science against faith, instead of Christians being called to proclaim the infallible teachings of Scripture.
