Owen Foote thinks soccer is the greatest sport in the world. He's so excited about being in the town soccer league that he's talked his best friend, Joseph, into signing up too. But Joseph can't kick and he can't pass-he's a klutz. And to make matters worse, the other kids on the team all look bigger and older than Owen. Soccer isn't as much fun as it used to be, but Owen won't give up his favorite sport-or his best friend without a fight. Recommended for ages 8 to 12.
