Parables Onstage is two one act plays that invite a celebration. The first play, The Gospel According to Jessica, Jessica is a young woman on the edge of unbelief who needs shelter from the city and meets the fresh out of the seminary pastor at St. Jude's church who discovers that truth can come in the most unusual packages. The second play, 'Right Here in Ivy Hollow', is an extension of the parable of the sower. The play takes place largely in a store in a small town in Alabama.
