In this book Colin Brown discusses the thought of about 450 philosophers from Augustine to Schaeffer (or alphabetically, from Abelard to Zwingli) and includes and index, suggestions for further reading. Written from a Christian perspective, the goal of this book is to survery these philosophers and intellectual movements of western thought of the past thousand years, with a view showing how they affect Christian belief.
